Garmin has entered India's screen-free fitness band segment with the CIRQA, a wearable that tracks health, sleep, activity and recovery without displaying notifications or fitness metrics on the wrist. The wearable is designed around a different approach to fitness tracking: users wear the band throughout the day and check their data through the Garmin Connect app when needed. Garmin is targeting both fitness enthusiasts who want detailed training insights and users who prefer a distraction-free wearable alongside a conventional watch.
Garmin CIRQA Specifications And Features
Unlike conventional smart bands, the Garmin CIRQA does not have a screen for checking steps, heart rate or notifications. Instead, it collects health and activity data and presents the information in Garmin Connect on a compatible Android phone or iPhone. The band weighs around 21 grams with its wristband and measures 27 × 47 × 9mm. It uses a fibre-reinforced polymer case and a replaceable Comfort Fit fabric strap. The S/M size fits wrists measuring 120–200mm, while the L/XL version is designed for wrists measuring 145–240mm.
Garmin has also given the CIRQA a 5 ATM water-resistance rating, making it suitable for swimming. Its up-to-10-day battery life is another key feature for users who want continuous tracking without frequent charging. The CIRQA monitors wrist-based heart rate, stress and respiration, along with blood oxygen levels through Garmin's Pulse Ox feature. It also includes Body Battery, which estimates energy reserves based on how activity and rest affect the body.
Sleep tracking covers sleep stages, a sleep score, personalised sleep coaching and nap detection. The wearable also records heart rate variability and skin temperature during sleep, giving users additional metrics to review over time. Menstrual cycle and pregnancy tracking are included as well.
These features position the CIRQA as more than a step counter, with an emphasis on understanding daily health patterns and recovery rather than simply recording workouts. The Garmin CIRQA supports over 80 activities, including running, walking, cycling and yoga. Users can record activities through Garmin Connect or the band's side button, while automatically detected activities can be reviewed and edited later.
For outdoor workouts, Connected GPS uses a compatible smartphone to record routes, distance and pace. LiveTrack is also supported for location sharing during compatible activities. More advanced training metrics include training readiness, training status, VO₂ max estimates, workout benefit and recovery time. These features could be particularly useful for runners and athletes who want to understand how their workouts affect performance and when to schedule recovery.
Core health and fitness tracking features on the CIRQA do not require a subscription. Garmin Connect+ is available separately for users who want additional optional features, meaning buyers can access the band's core tracking experience without committing to a recurring payment.
Garmin CIRQA Price in India and Colour Options
The Garmin CIRQA is available in Black, French Grey, Mauve and Captain Blue colour options, with S/M and L/XL strap sizes at a price of Rs 29,990 on Garmin’s official website. However, it was introduced at an offer price of Rs 25,990, but the company says it was sold out within four hours after going live on sale.
The Garmin CIRQA makes a clear trade-off: it removes the screen and everyday smartwatch conveniences in favour of continuous tracking, longer battery life and app-based health insights. That approach could appeal to people who find wrist notifications distracting, want to wear a traditional watch, or need more detailed recovery and training data than a basic fitness band provides.
At Rs 25,990 during its introductory offer, the CIRQA is considerably more expensive than mainstream fitness bands. Its appeal will therefore depend on how much value users place on Garmin's training ecosystem, health metrics and screen-free design. The reported four-hour sell-out indicates early interest, but buyers will need to wait for availability to return before judging its wider demand in India.
