The iQOO Neo 9 and the iQOO Neo 9 Pro smartphones have been launched in China today. The newly unveiled iQOO Neo 9 lineup arrives as a successor to the company’s iQOO Neo 8 series. The iQOO Neo 9 lineup devices feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 2800×1260 pixel resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Both smartphones feature a dual-camera setup, 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage, and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security purposes. iQOO Neo 9, Neo 9 Pro: Pricing, Availability
The iQOO Neo 9 and the Neo 9 Pro come in three colour options: Red and White, Black, and Nautical Blue. The smartphones are available for pre-order in China currently, and they will go on sale from December 30. iQOO Neo 9, Neo 9 Pro: Features
The iQOO Neo 9 and the Neo 9 Pro sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that has a 2800×1260 pixel resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The display panel on these devices has a 20:9 aspect ratio, 93.43% screen-to-body ratio, and HDR10+ support. The iQOO Neo 9 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, whereas the Pro model uses the Dimensity 9300 chipset. Both these devices ship with Android 14, and they pack up to 16GB of RAM.
Both smartphones are equipped with a Q1 dedicated chip and they also have a 6k canopy VC cooling system for heat dissipation. As for the optics purpose, both smartphones sport a dual-camera setup. Both the devices boast a 50MP primary camera (Sony IMX920 sensor). The vanilla iQOO Neo 9 model has an 8MP ultra-wide lens, whereas the iQOO Neo 9 Pro sports a 50MP ultra-wide lens.
The front-facing camera on both smartphones is 16MP. The duo packs a 5,160mAh battery which supports 120W fast charging.
