An air purifier usually makes it onto the shopping list when the smog has already arrived. By then, the purchase becomes urgent, and finding a suitable model with quick delivery can matter more than getting a good price. With the winter pollution season approaching, Flipkart's Big Billion Days and Amazon's Great Indian Festival offer a reason to start comparing options before that last-minute scramble.
₹10,000 is a reasonable budget for a room air purifier. You can find models with effective particle filtration, automatic operation and, in some cases, app controls without moving into the premium segment. The important part is choosing one that suits the room where you will use it. A compact purifier for a bedroom and a higher-capacity model for a larger space can fall within the same budget while delivering quite different levels of air cleaning.
For this shortlist, the specifications worth prioritising are filtration, Clean Air Delivery Rate or CADR, and replacement-filter availability. A large discount is welcome, but the purifier also needs to move enough clean air through your room.
Mijia by Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact

The Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact is listed on Flipkart at ₹7,999, against an MRP of ₹11,999. That puts it ₹4,000 below MRP, with room left in the ₹10,000 budget. Its main appeal is the combination of a compact body, smart controls and a particle CADR of 230m³/h.
It uses three-stage filtration with a pre-filter, high-efficiency particle filter and activated carbon. Xiaomi Home app support allows remote control and filter-life tracking, while Google Assistant and Alexa support add voice control. Xiaomi specifies a 27W power rating and noise as low as 20dB in sleep mode.
While this is a great air purifier, for a heavily polluted environment, we would prioritize using it in a smaller enclosed bedroom rather than stretching it to the largest advertised space. It is a practical option for buyers who value compactness and connected controls.
Qubo Q400 Smart Air Purifier

The Qubo Q400 is listed at ₹8,990 on Flipkart and Amazon, compared with an MRP of ₹17,990. Its specifications include a 330m³/h CADR, True HEPA H13 filtration and activated carbon, alongside app and voice controls. That gives it a higher stated clean-air delivery rate than the Xiaomi for an additional ₹991.
Qubo advertises coverage of up to 400 sq. ft., with automatic operation, scheduling and a sleep mode. Its technical specifications list 35W power consumption and filter life of up to 9,000 hours, although actual replacement intervals depend on operating conditions.
On paper, the Q400 is the more compelling proposition if air-cleaning capacity matters more than the smallest possible footprint. The higher CADR is useful, but the long filter-life claim should not be treated as a guaranteed replacement schedule during a demanding pollution season.
Coway Airmega 50

The Coway Airmega 50 brings three-stage HyperCaptive filtration and a 360-degree air intake to a compact design. It also includes a particle sensor and Smart Mode, which adjusts fan operation in response to detected air quality. A colour-changing indicator provides an at-a-glance view of conditions around the purifier.
The convenience features are useful for everyday operation: there is a sleep mode, filter-replacement indicator, control-panel lock and a timer with one-, two-, four- and eight-hour settings. For someone who wants a purifier that can largely manage itself, automatic fan adjustment is a meaningful addition.
Before choosing it, check the exact room-size recommendation and clean-air delivery specification on the selected listing. Coway's brand name alone should not decide the purchase, particularly when comparing this compact model with larger purifiers at similar sale prices. In the past we have reviewed its more expensive counter parts and they have performed really well in our testing.
Eureka Forbes Air Purifier 355

The Eureka Forbes Air Purifier 355 stands out for its 355m³/h CADR, the highest verified figure among the Xiaomi, Qubo, Eureka Forbes, Sharp and HIFRESH models covered here. As per the company claims, the 360-degree air intake has a pre-filter, activated carbon, True HEPA H13 filtration, and a plasma stage. The brand advertises coverage of up to 480 sq. ft.
It also has a numerical PM2.5 display, a colour-coded air-quality indicator, automatic operation and a sleep mode. These are useful features if you want to monitor changes in indoor particle levels without relying only on a coloured light.
In the current sale season, Amazon is offering this air purifier for ₹10,000. Replacement costs are also relatively easy to establish: Eureka Forbes lists the compatible integrated filter at ₹2,499 on its website. That recurring expense should be part of the budget from the outset.
Sharp FP-JA30M-B

The Sharp FP-JA30M-B combines a mesh pre-filter, True HEPA filtration and activated carbon with the company's Plasmacluster ion technology. Sharp lists a maximum airflow/CADR of 180m³/h and advertised coverage of 250 sq. ft., positioning it below the Xiaomi and Qubo on stated air delivery.
It offers an Allergy mode and three fan-speed settings, with listed noise levels ranging from 23dB to 44dB. Power consumption varies from 13W at the lowest setting to 50W at the highest. Sharp also specifies a two-year onsite warranty and filter life of up to two years, subject to usage and environmental conditions.
We found its unique shape to be cute. This is an option to compare for a smaller room, especially now that it is retailing for less than Rs 10,000.
HIFRESH IN19
The linked HIFRESH model is the black IN19, which the brand specifies with an H13 HEPA composite filter and 200m³/h CADR. Its stated coverage is 15–30 square metres, or approximately 161–323 sq. ft. It also includes a numerical PM2.5 display with a colour indicator.
The IN19 range offers automatic operation, three fan speeds, sleep mode, a timer, child lock and a filter-life reminder. These give it a useful set of everyday controls, particularly for buyers who want to see a particle reading on the appliance itself.
Currently this air purifier is also retailing for under Rs 10,000, but when pitted against giants like Xiaomi and Coway, one should not be looking at just the deal price. Before buying, check the price and availability of the exact replacement filter and the service arrangements for your location. Those details matter more over several seasons than an extra operating mode.
Buy for Your Room, and Budget for the Filter
Coverage figures are not always calculated on the same basis, so comparing the largest square-foot number on each listing can be misleading. CADR provides another useful reference, and a purifier should have enough capacity for the room in which it will operate. Lower fan speeds also mean lower air-cleaning output, so the quietest sleep-mode figure should not be mistaken for full-performance operation.
Check replacement-filter costs before placing the order, then compare the actual selling price after any eligible bank discount. An MRP reduction does not necessarily establish a lowest-ever deal. Buying ahead of the smog season gives you time to make those comparisons and have the purifier ready when you need it.
