Apple iPhone (2019) Has 5.8-inch OLED Screen, Frosted Glass Back Design

The Apple iPhone (2019) has a glass-and-metal sandwich design that’s similar to 2018 iPhones, but there’s a slight difference at the rear. The new iPhone uses a frosted glass on the rear, giving it a slightly different look than previous iPhones. At the front, there’s a 5.8-inch OLED screen which has a resolution of 2436×1125 pixels and is protected by scratch-resistant glass that has an oleophobic coating to hide fingerprints. The screen is almost bezel-less, save for a notch at the top to accommodate FaceID mechanism. The iPhone (2019) is also HDR10 and Dolby Vision-certified so that it can play HDR videos.

Apple iPhone (2019) Runs iOS 13, Uses A13 Processor

The Apple A13 processing chipset, which succeeds the brilliant A12 Bionic from last year, is used in the Apple iPhone (2019) series. It is a 64-bit octa-core processor with a custom GPU designed by Apple in-house. The SoC is paired to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of NVMe internal storage. As always, there’s no storage expansion through a memory card slot. The iPhone (2019) runs iOS 13, which comes with various improvements and new features. Now there’s system-wide Dark Mode, which makes it easier for the eyes during the night.

The iPhone (2019) is the first Apple smartphone to have three cameras on the rear. There is a 12MP primary camera with a wide-angle lens, dual-pixel autofocus, and OIS.
