Honor Magic 6 Pro Camera Specifications Leaked: To Sport 1-inch Primary Sensor

The upcoming Honor Magic 6 Pro smartphone was spotted in the 3C certification by our folks at MySmartPrice. The 3C certification of the Pro smartphone confirmed the device’s satellite connectivity. Honor is set to debut the Magic 6 series smartphones soon in China and in the global markets. Honor has already launched the Magic 6 Lite 5G smartphone in theEuropean markets.

The company recently confirmed the chipset details of the Magic 6 Pro smartphone. Our team at MySmartPrice also spotted the vanilla Magic 6 smartphone in the 3C certification. The 3C certification confirms the device’s 5G connectivity. Digital Chat Station, a well-known tipster, has revealed the camera specifications of the upcoming Honor flagship smartphones.

Honor Magic 6 Pro Expected Specifications

The tipster reveals that Honor will equip the Pro smartphone with an OmniVision OV50H sensor with a sensor size of 1/1.3-inch. There are also rumours that the upcoming Magic 6 Pro smartphone will sport an OV50K sensor with a sensor size of 1-inch. The primary rear camera is tipped to sport variable aperture support for capturing brighter images with less noise.

The OmniVision OV50K sensor will also sport LOFIC technology, which is based on CMOS’s lateral overflow integration capacitor. Honor will equip the Magic 6 Pro smartphone with a stacked sensor similar to other flagship smartphones. A previous leak revealed that the upcoming device will sport a 160MP periscope telephoto sensor.

A live image of the Magic 6 Pro went live on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo. The live divulged that Honor will equip the device with a pill-shaped notch. Honor will equip the device with a 3D Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensor similar to its predecessor. The device is also tipped to sport a 12MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. The upcoming Magic 6 Pro will also debut in a variant with Porsche design.

Honor confirmed during the Snapdragon Summit 2023 that the Pro variant will sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The chipset is built on a 4nm process and features one Cortex-X4 core at 3.3GHz, three Cortex-A720 cores at 3.15GHz, three Cortex-A720 cores at 2.96GHz, three Cortex-A520 cores at 2.26GHz and Adreno 750 GPU. Honor also divulged that the device will sport its own AI model with the smartphone.

The assistant namedYOYO will use 7 billion parameters to provide the output that the user requests. Honor also reveals that the device will feature Magic Capsule technology, which offers a multimodal eye-tracking interaction. The 3C certification of the device with the model number BVL-AN16 divulged the support for 100W wired fast charging tech.

Honor is tipped to equip the device with an OLED display with 2K resolution. Honor has moved the pill-shaped notch from the left of the screen to the middle. The smartphone will run on Magic OS 8.0 based on Android 14 out of the box. Honor is likely to ship the device with a second-generation Qinghai Lake battery. The rear glass panel of the device will be made from nano-ceramic glass to offer a premium in-hand experience.
