Indian smartphone company Lava has announced a new smartphone in its portfolio of products in the country called the Lava Z61 Pro. It is an entry-level smartphone with a dated smartphone design with a single camera system and thick, chunky bezels surrounding the screen. Lava has said that the Z61 Pro happens to be a truly ‘Made in India’ smartphone.
Lava Z61 Pro: Price and specifications
The Lava Z61 Pro has been announced for a price of Rs 5,774 in India. There will be only one variant of the device and it will be available in two colour variants which are Midnight Blue and Amber Red. You can purchase the device via offline channels and online channels such as Amazon and Flipkart.
As far as the specifications go, the device happens to have a 5.45-inch HD+ display with significant bezels on all sides. The aspect ratio of the screen is 18:9 and it happens to have an LCD display. Powering the device happens to be an unknown chipset which is octa-core by design and has a max frequency of 1.6GHz. You will get a single 2GB RAM along with 16GB of internal storage variant for the device. The storage can be expanded using a microSD card by up to 128GB.
On the camera front, the phone has an 8MP primary sensor which happens to be supported by a 5MP selfie camera on the front. The company says that the camera features on the device include portrait mode, beauty mode, HDR, night mode and more. As for the battery, there is a 3,100mAh battery without any fast charging support. There also happens to be a micro USB port for charging. For authentication there happens to be no physical fingerprint sensor but a face unlock is present.
