Lenovo has launched a slew of products ahead of CES 2024, including IdeaPad Pro 5i (16-inch, 9), which is the world’s first consumer Intel Evo Edition laptop with Intel’s new Core Ultra processor. The company also debuted the Intel Evo Edition ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 12 and ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 Gen 9.
The laptops were announced ahead of CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2024, which is scheduled to take place from Jan 9-12 in Las Vegas. The ThinkPad X1 Carbon and ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 are powered by the Intel Core Ultra processors as well, though all configurations of the devices will only be available from March 2024. The laptops run Windows 11.
The Intel Core Ultra processors enable new AI experiences. The processors include three compute engines – CPU (Central Processing Unit), GPU (Graphics Processing Unit), and NPU (Neural Processing Unit) for handling AI PC tasks more efficiently. These enhance quality, while on supported software applications such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Studio Effects, Adobe Lightroom, and more. Then there’s the Copilot feature in Windows, which has been updated with AI features.
Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 12, ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 Gen 9: Price, Availability
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 12 variants will be available from March 2024 in the US, though limited configurations can be bought starting from December 2023. The ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 12 can be bought starting at $2,989 (approximately Rs 2,48,078) in the US.
The ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 Gen 9 will be available in the US starting from March 2024. The starting price is expected to be $2,639 (approximately Rs 2,19,029).
Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i (16-inch, 9): Price, Availability
The Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i (16-inch, 9) is already available in the US. The expected starting price of the laptop is $1,149.99 (approximately Rs Rs 95,445).

Lenovo also unveiled its ThinkVision 3D Monitor, USB-C Dual Display Travel Dock, and Wireless VoIP Headset alongside the laptops. The ThinkVision 3D Monitor will be available in select markets from February 2024. The expected starting price will be $2,999 (approximately Rs 2,48,908).
The USB-C Dual Display Travel Dock by Lenovo can be bought starting from March 2024 in the US at an expected starting price of $109.99 (approximately Rs 9,128). The Lenovo Wireless VoIP Headset will be available in the US from April 2024 and it will have an expected price of $99.99 (approximately Rs 8,298).
