Google has officially launched the Pixel 8a in India as its latest mid-range offering. The new launch comes as the affordable phone in the Pixel 8 series but offers the same processor and camera features as its flagship siblings. Surprisingly, Google launched the smartphone in India before its I/O event, scheduled to start next week.

Google has refreshed the design of the Pixel 8a, which is now more rounded around the corner like the flagship Pixel 8 series. The Pixel 8a comes with the same 6.1-inch OLED display as its predecessor but the refresh rate has been bumped up to 120Hz. The phone now supports 2,000 nits peak brightness.

The latest launch comes with the newest Tensor G3 processor and offers AI-powered camera features like Best Take, Audio Magic Eraser, Magic Editor, and Ultra HDR.
