Huawei’s upcoming camera flagship smartphone series, the P40, has been in the news recently. So far, we know that the P40 line up will have two handsets – the P40 and the P40 Pro. However, a new leak from Evan Blass says otherwise. According to him, Huawei will also launch the P40 Pro Premium Edition, a top of the line variant, offering a ceramic body.

Moreover, the leakster has posted high resolution renders of the P40 Pro Premium Edition, and the device in these images looks beautiful, at least in my opinion. The pictures reconfirm the previous leaks and rumors about the specifications of the device, such as a Penta-camera setup at the rear with LEICA lens and periscope camera, a wide punch-hole in the top-right of the display housing two selfie camera, and a bottom-mounted USB Type-C port.

The last two generations of the brand’s flagship series – the Mate – came with special edition devices, such as the Huawei Mate 30 RS. So, it makes sense if the brand has decided to launch a special edition device with the camera flagship P series as well. Expect the P40 Pro Premium Edition to have a hefty price tag, since it using a ceramic body for a smartphone is a costly affair. It is also possible that the special edition will be limited to the brand’s home country.
