Realme GT 6 Series Smartphone Confirmed to Launch This Month in India

Realme, as part of its sixth-anniversary celebration, announced that the Realme GT series will soon make a comeback in India. The company shared that it will soon unveil the sixth generation of the GT series, which means that a Realme GT 6 series smartphone will debut soon. Take a look at the details.

Realme GT 6 Series Launching Soon in India

Realme wants to target the mid-premium smartphone segment with the upcoming Realme GT series smartphone. It further adds that the new GT series smartphone will deliver flagship-level performance.

Realme also took the opportunity to share that it has sold over 100 million (10 crore) smartphones in the last five years in India. It entered the list of top five smartphone brands in the country in 2023 with over 17 million sales. The company also reaffirmed its dedication to the mid-premium segment and said that number series and GT series smartphones will cater to this segment.

Realme hasn’t yet announced the moniker of the upcoming GT-series smartphone but we can expect it to be the Realme GT 6. A few weeks ago, the Realme GT 6 was spotted on Geekbench, BIS, Indonesia Telecom, and FCC certification websites.

The Realme GT 6, as revealed through the Indonesia Telecom website, has the model number RMX3851. As per a Geekbench listing, the smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. It will feature 16GB of RAM and will boot Android 14.

The phone’s FCC listing revealed that it will feature a 5,500mAh (2,680mAh dual-cell battery) and weigh 199 grams. The smartphone will feature support for 120W SuperVOOC fast charging. As per a Camera FV-5 listing, the handset is expected to feature a 50MP rear camera.

The Realme GT 6 could be the rebranded Realme GT Neo 6, which will launch on May 9 in China. Realme has already confirmed that the GT Neo 6 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and a 5,500mAh battery. The Realme GT Neo 6 Chinese variant is also confirmed to feature 120W fast charging support and an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.
