Realme GT Neo 6 SE Moniker and Chipset Officially Confirmed; Debut Expected in Late March

Realme is preparing to launch the Realme GT Neo 6 series smartphones in China. Chase Xu, Vice President of Realme, has confirmed the moniker and chipset of the Realme GT Neo 6 SE smartphone through a teaser shared on Weibo, the Chinese microblogging platform.

Realme GT Neo 6 SE Chipset Details

Realme confirms that the upcoming GT series smartphone will be the first device in the world to debut with the unannounced Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset. OnePlus recently confirmed that the OnePlus Ace 3V smartphone will debut with the same Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC.

Realme officially teases the upcoming Qualcomm chipset as a downgraded Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC variant. The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC will pack an octa-core architecture with one Cortex X4 core at 2.9GHz, four Cortex A720 cores at 2.6GHz, three Cortex A520 cores at 1.9GHz, and an Adreno 732 GPU.

The official adds that the GT Neo 6 SE will be Realme’s most powerful SE smartphone to date. The teaser hints that the forthcoming device will usher in a new generation of mid-range smartphones.

Realme GT Neo 6 SE Expected Specifications

Digital Chat Station, a well-known tipster on Weibo, tipped that Realme will equip the device with an OLED panel with support for 1.5K resolution. The GT Neo 6 SE is expected to be the cheapest device with an 8T LTPO OLED panel.

The device will feature a 5,500mAh battery with 100W wired charging tech support. Only the battery, chipset, and display details for the GT Neo 6 SE are currently known. Hopefully, more specifications will be revealed as it gets closer to launch.
