Xiaomi is all set to launch a new entry-level Redmi handset – the Redmi 13C in the Indian market. As announced by the company, the Redmi smartphone will make its debut on December 6 in the country. Ahead of the launch, the Redmi 13C micro-site has gone live on Amazon which suggests that the upcoming Redmi handset will be sold exclusively via Amazon in the Indian market.
Alongside, a report by Gadgets360, citing industry sources, claims that the brand will also launch the Redmi 13C 5G on December 6 in the Indian market. If so, it will be the first 5G-enabled entry-level handset under the Redmi C-series. Let us take a closer look at the details.

Redmi 13C is confirmed to launch in Stardust Black and Star Shine Green colour variants in the Indian market. The Redmi 13C will be sold via Amazon in the country in addition to company’s own e-commerce portal – mi.com. The Amazon micro-site showcases the device’s renders in Stardust Black and Star Shine Green colour option. Apart from it, the micro-site also reveals that the Redmi 13C will offer a 50MP primary rear camera.
To those unaware, the Redmi 13C made its debut earlier this month in Nigeria. However, compared to the global variant, that debuted in Nigeria, the Redmi 13C Indian variant is tipped to sport a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC under the hood. To recall, the Redmi 13C global variant is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 processor.
