Tecno, back in February this year, introduced the Tecno Pop 7 Pro smartphone in the Indian market. Now, tipster Paras Guglani claims that Tecno will soon unveil a new Pop series handset – the Tecno Pop 8 in the country. To those unaware, Tecno Pop 8 was unveiled a few weeks back in the Global markets.
Paras took it to X (formerly Twitter) to share the news regrading the Tecno Pop 8 India launch. Alongside, the tipster has also dropped a hint about the Tecno Pop 8 India price. The Tecno Pop 8 features the company’s in-house Dynamic port display which is an implementation similar to that of Apple’s Dynamic Island.
The Tecno Pop 8 is the first Pop-series smartphone to feature a 90Hz refresh rate display. It is powered by a UniSoC T606 processor and up to 4GB of RAM. The smartphone packs a 5000mAh battery under the hood and charges at 10W over a Type-C charging port. On security front, it gets a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
