Vivo X90 Pro Global Variant’s Specifications and Features Leaked Ahead of February 3 Launch

Vivo X90 series is said to launch globally on February 3. The company launched the X90 series late last year in China. The lineup includes three phones — X90, X90 Pro and X90 Pro Plus 5G. The X90 Pro 5G and X90 Pro are said to launch globally. The X90 Pro Plus 5G, on the other hand, will remain exclusive to China for the time being. Details about the Vivo X90 Pro global variant have now surfaced online.

A new leak by tipster Paras Guglani summarises the specifications and features of the upcoming Vivo X-series flagship smartphone for the global market. Let’s take a look at the Vivo X90 Pro specifications, features and other details revealed ahead of the global launch.

Vivo X90 Pro Global Variant Specifications

The Vivo X90 Pro global variant will feature a top-of-the-line camera and other hardware found in 2023 flagships. It is expected to launch next week. Ahead of the launch, the leaked poster by Guglani reveals that the phone’s global variant will have a Sony IMX989 1-inch 50MP main camera sensor. It will be accompanied by a 50MP Sony IMX758 portrait camera sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide camera sensor. The camera setup has been tuned in collaboration with Zeiss.

The triple-camera setup resting on the circular camera module will have a T* coating. It will also come with the new Vivo V2 chip, claiming to offer zero shutter lag. The new Vivo flagship phone will also come with five new portrait mode filters for the front camera. There will be support for 4K Super Night Mode Video as well.

In addition to the camera hardware, the X90 Pro will also pack a flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC. The 4nm SoC is rumoured to come paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It will also launch in a single Legend Black colour option, which is 9.34mm thick. The phone has an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

Under the hood, there is a massive liquid cooling system to keep thermals in check. There will also be support for 120W fast charging out of the box. Vivo claims that the charging tech will refill the phone’s 4870mAh battery u pro 50 per cent in eight minutes.

The screen, which is 6.78 inches tall, is curved and has a 2K resolution. It comes with a 300Hz touch sampling rate and 2160Hz PWM Dimming. There is also support for a 120Hz refresh rate.

The X90 Pro global variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is said to carry a price tag of RM 5,299 (roughly Rs 1,01,700). The price is expected to be lower in India. That being said, there is no word about the launch of the X90 series in India. We will share more details about the launch date as and when available.
