This week we are back with more news about the top OTT releases. There are a whole bunch of new releases on multiple platforms. OTT platforms in India including Netflix, Amazon Prime, Voot, Disney+Hotstar, Sony Liv release new content each week and we make a list of the top releases.
We are coming up on another weekend where the Indian audience will get some new films and shows along with new episodes of already ongoing shows like The Boys and Ms. Marvel. Stranger Things (Season 4, Volume 2) (Netflix – July 1)
Stranger Things comes back with the second part of this new fourth season which released back in the month of May. Eleven and kids have grown up somewhat but this time they are facing an evil wizard in the upside down.
The show brings back Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, and Gaten Matarazzo for their roles.
Samrat Prithviraj (Amazon Prime – July 1)
After an unsuccessful run at the box office this Akshay Kumar starrer is hitting the OTT platform for everyone that did not catch it in the theaters. Akshay Kumar headlines as Prithviraj Chauhan along with Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, and Manushi Chhillar in the other leading roles.
Shut Up Sona (Zee5 – July 1)
Shut Up Sona is a documentary that will be coming to Zee5 and follows the life of National award-winning singer Sona Mahapatra. It follows her struggles as she navigates Bollywood and the politics of being successful as a female singer.
The Terminal List (Amazon Prime – July 1)
The Terminal List is an American action thriller show that stars Chris Pratt and is based on the novel of the same name by Jack Carr. Chris Pratt gets into the shoes of a Navy SEAL whose entire platoon was ambushed. He realizes that there are questionable forces working behind the scenes of the whole thing.
Dhaakad (Zee5 – July 1)
This action film by Razneesh Ghai stars Kangana Ranaut, Divya Dutta, Arjun Rampal, and Saswata Chatterjee in the leading roles. Ranaut highlights as an International Task Force (ITF) officer and has to criminal organizations to protect her country.
