The Realme 12+ 5G will make its global debut on February 29 in Malaysia. Alongside the Realme 12+ 5G, the company will also introduce the Realme 12 Pro+ 5G in Malaysian market. Ahead of the launch, the company has started dropping teasers for the upcoming launch on social media channels.
The Realme 12+ 5G teaser shared by the company reveals the design elements of the handset. The Realme 12+ 5G will arrive in two colour options – beige and wine green with vegan leather finish. The handset will feature a flat-edge design and house a huge circular camera island on the rear, similar to the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+.
Meanwhile, tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore has revealed the detailed specifications of the upcoming Realme 12+ 5G. As per the tipster, the Realme 12+ 5G will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC. This is the same processor that powers the Realme 11 Pro series, OPPO Reno 11, Lava Agni 2, and more.
The Realme 12+ 5G is tipped to sport a 6.67-inch flat AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1800 × 2400 pixel resolution. The smartphone will be equipped with a triple-rear camera setup which might include a 50MP Sony LYT-600 shooter with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies and video calls, the handset might rely on a 16MP front shooter.
The Realme 12+ 5G will likely sport a 5000mAh battery unit and 67W SuperVOOC fast charging support. The handset is said to come pre-loaded with Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0. It might weigh 190 grams and measure around 163 × 75.5 × 7.9mm. The tipster claims that the handset will be available in up to 12GB + 256GB configuration.
