Redmi Note 12 vs iQOO Z6 Lite vs Samsung Galaxy F23 5G: Verdict

Redmi Note 12, the latest smartphone in the segment to launch, has raised eyebrows among the consumers waiting for the smartphone’s launch, as we all expected the phone to obliterate the competition around the Rs 15,000 segment. But Redmi Note 12 came at a higher price of Rs 18,000.

In terms of performance, Redmi Note 12 doesn’t have a considerable lead over the other two phones to demand as premium the others; as it comes with Snapdragon 4 Gen 1, the same chipset from iQOO Z6 Lite and Samsung Galaxy F23 5G’s Snapdragon 750G is almost the same in terms of performance compared to the newer Snapdragon 4 Gen 1.

It also doesn’t help Redmi Note 12’s case that it comes with effectively a single camera as the second camera is a depth sensor. iQOO Z6 Lite comes with a macro sensor, while Samsung Galaxy F23 5G comes with an ultra-wide camera and a macro sensor.

But the saving grace for Redmi Note 12 is the display, which is much superior to the other two phones, as its having a 120Hz Super AMOLED display with a punch-hole camera. Compared to both Samsung Galaxy F23 5G and iQOO Z6 Lite, which comes with a 120Hz LCD with a waterdrop notch.

Redmi Note 12 also has the upper hand over the other phones regarding charging, as it comes with a 33W fast charging, compared to 25W and 18W fast charging in the Samsung Galaxy F23 5G and iQOO Z6 Lite comparatively.

Overall, if you want a more value-for-money option, you can get Samsung Galaxy F23 5G and iQOO Z6 Lite. Both smartphones offer similar features and specifications, but Samsung Galaxy F23 5G comes at a lower price and is the more value-for-money option.

The cheapest Redmi Note 12 costs Rs 6,000 more than the most affordable variant of iQOO Z6 Lite, which is a massive amount of money for similarly specced phones. But if you want that 120Hz AMOLED display and faster charging, be ready to spend much more than iQOO Z6 Lite and Samsung Galaxy F23 5G. But if you can get the phone in the launch card offers for Rs 16,499, it can be a good choice over Samsung Galaxy F23 5G.
