LG Launches New French Door Refrigerators in India With Auto Ice Maker; Price Starts at Rs 1.18 Lakh

LG Electronics India has launched its new French Door Refrigerator range as it expands its premium home appliances portfolio in the country. The lineup includes models with up to 610 litres of capacity, Auto Ice Maker, InstaView technology, and smart connectivity features.

The new refrigerators come at a time when premium appliances are moving beyond just higher capacities, with brands focusing more on design, convenience features, and smart home integration. LG has also been expanding its premium refrigerator portfolio with models that are designed to fit modern kitchens.

LG French Door Refrigerator Price and Availability in India

The new LG French Door Refrigerator range starts at Rs 1.18 lakh. The refrigerators will be available through LG's retail network and other leading stores across India.

The lineup is available in 574-litre to 610-litre capacities and comes in Glass and Steel finish options.

LG French Door Refrigerator Features

The new range features a four-door design, with the refrigerator compartment placed on top and the freezer section at the bottom. LG says this layout improves everyday accessibility as commonly used items remain at eye level.

The wider shelves are designed keeping Indian usage patterns in mind, allowing users to store larger utensils and containers more easily. The four-door layout also helps organise food better while reducing cold air loss.

One of the key additions is the Auto Ice Maker, which uses a refillable water tank to provide ice on demand. The refrigerators also come with a built-in water dispenser.

The lineup also gets LG's InstaView feature, which lets users see inside the refrigerator by knocking twice on the panel without opening the door.

Other features include FreshConverter+ for adjusting temperatures based on food type, Door Cooling+ for uniform cooling, Hygiene Fresh+ for reducing bacteria and odours, and Express Freeze for faster cooling.

The refrigerators support LG ThinQ Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing users to control and monitor the appliance remotely. LG has also added Smart Learner technology, which adjusts cooling based on usage patterns.

With the new launch, LG is targeting consumers looking for larger premium refrigerators that combine storage, design, and connected features for modern households.
