Samsung Galaxy F55 5G, M55 5G, and Alleged C55 5G Receives Wi-Fi Alliance Certification, Could Debut Soon

It appears that Samsung is gearing up to broaden its mid-range lineup with a number of new devices. The Galaxy M55 5G recently surfaced on the well-known Geekbench database. Today, we have identified the Galaxy F55 5G (SM-E556B), Galaxy M55 5G (SM-M556E), and purported Galaxy C55 5G (SM-C5560) on the Wi-Fi Alliance certification website.

Unfortunately, the listing on the Wi-Fi Alliance website doesn’t disclose any specifications about the upcoming smartphones. Nevertheless, it certainly suggests that an array of new mid-range devices from Samsung is on the horizon.

The recent listing of the Galaxy M55 5G on the Geekbench database reveals that the smartphone will have an Adreno (TM) 644 GPU and Max CPU Clock Speed of 2.40 GHz, which indicates the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM. It scored 3575 in the single-core test and 11330 in the multicore test.

The Galaxy M55 5G is set to succeed the Galaxy M54 5G, which made its debut in March of 2023. The current M54 has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED 120Hz display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Operating on the Android 13-based One UI 5.1 straight out of the box.

In terms of optics, the smartphone is equipped with a 108MP + 8MP + 2MP triple rear camera setup, capable of recording 4K video at 30fps and 1080p videos at up to 60fps. On the front, it hosts a 32MP selfie camera. It encompasses essential sensors like a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity sensor, and compass.

Furthermore, the Galaxy M series has consistently prioritized larger battery capacities, and the Galaxy M54 5G is no exception. It features a substantial 6,000mAh battery and supports 25W wired charging. The device is available in Dark Blue and Silver colour options.
