Toshiba has introduced its new range of QLED TVs in India. These TVs are equipped with 4K resolution-supported quantum dot LED panels and are certified with Dolby Vision Atmos. The 43-inch and 50-inch models will be available on Flipkart and Amazon starting, May 7. The 55-inch model will follow soon on the same portals. Customers who purchase the new Toshiba TVs between May 7 and May 31 will get a free annual subscription to Disney+Hotstar and JioCinema Premium.
Toshiba QLED 4K TVs 2024: Features
The new Toshiba QLED TVs feature a quantum dot LED display panel with a 4K resolution. The display panel is compatible with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ and is powered by the REGZA Engine ZR, which is Toshiba’s proprietary technology for enhancing 4K content playback.
The TVs feature thin bezels for an immersive viewing experience. They also feature AI 4K upscaling that optimizes non-native 4K content for the high-resolution panel. The TV also comes with an auto-low latency mode for gaming to reduce input lag.
Toshiba’s new QLED TVs have REGZA Power Audio and Dolby Atmos support for speakers. They also have DTS:X surround sound compatibility
The new Toshiba TVs run the VIDAA TV operating system. It also supports voice commands through Alexa and VIDAA voice. The TVs are directly compatible with streaming apps like Netflix, Disney+Hostar, Amazon Prime Video, JioCinema, YouTube, Zee5, Apple TV, and more.
Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI, USB-A ports for direct media playback, and legacy ports for connecting your set-top box. Toshiba says that the TVs are designed for durability and have been tested for 1.2-meter drop tests, 3000km transportation, and can smoothly operate within a temperature range of -30°C to 60°C. The company is offering a 2-year warranty on its new QLED 4K TVs.
