Vivo X100, X100 Pro: Camera Specifications Revealed in Leaked Ahead of Official Launch

Vivo is all set to unveil its latest X100 and X100 Pro smartphones in China on November 13. While the company has not revealed much details about the upcoming smartphones. The rumour mill has been churning out details about the forthcoming X series smartphones. Recently, the global X100 and X100 Pro variants were also spotted on certification websites like Geekbench and BIS Certification. Today, a new leak from the popular tipster Ishan Agarwal has revealed the camera specifications of both smartphones.

Vivo X100, X100 Pro Camera Specifications (Rumored)

According to the tipster, the X100 Pro is expected to feature a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an aperture of f/1.75. Additionally, it will include a 50MP ultrawide sensor with an aperture of f/2.0 and a 50MP periscope telephoto sensor with OIS, 4.3x zoom, and an aperture of f/2.5. The X100 Pro is also said to support 8K video recording.

In contrast, the X100 is likely to include a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and an aperture of f/1.6, along with a 50MP ultrawide sensor featuring an aperture of f/2.0 and a 64MP 3X telephoto sensor with OIS and an aperture of f/2.6.

According to additional reports, the X100 and X100 Pro will be equipped with Sony IMX920 and IMX989 primary cameras, respectively. Both phones are expected to incorporate a Samsung JN1 lens for ultra-wide shots and an OmniVision OV64B camera for periscope telephoto shots.

Despite sharing an identical rear camera module, one notable difference between the X100 and X100 Pro is the placement of the crescent design. On the X100 Pro, this distinctive design is positioned towards the bottom of the device, whereas the standard X100 model features the crescent design on the right side.

Vivo X100 and X100 Pro Key Specifications (Expected)

As per the Geekbench listing, the X100 and X100 Pro global variants will be powered by Dimensity 9300 SoC. The X100 will come with up to 12GB of RAM, and the Pro model will have up to 16GB of RAM. Both smartphones are said to run on the latest version of Funtouch OS 14, based on Android 14.

Moreover, both devices have secured BIS certification, suggesting a potential launch in India. Regarding the X100’s specifications, there are speculations that it will boast a 6.78-inch AMOLED display. The device is anticipated to house a 5,000mAh battery, potentially supporting 120W fast charging.

On the other hand, the X100 Pro is rumoured to present identical specifications to the standard X100 model, with the exception of a potentially different camera setup and a 4,500mAh battery.
