Nirvana by boAt has announced a partnership with Qualcomm Technologies to bring Snapdragon Sound to its upcoming premium audio products, starting with the Nirvana Eutopia 2 Pro headphones scheduled to launch in the second half of 2026. The integration brings Snapdragon Sound Technology Suite with Qualcomm aptX Lossless support, aiming to deliver high-fidelity wireless audio, ultra-low latency, and improved connectivity across music, gaming, streaming, and voice calls.
The company says Snapdragon Sound uses Qualcomm Bluetooth High Speed Link alongside Qualcomm aptX Lossless over Bluetooth Classic for seamless and stable audio transmission, even in demanding environments. The technology is designed to optimise the complete wireless audio chain from source to ear, enabling high-resolution music streaming, crystal-clear voice calls, and low-latency gaming audio.
Nirvana Eutopia 2 Pro to Lead boAt's Premium Audio Push
The upcoming Nirvana Eutopia 2 Pro headphones are positioned as boAt's next-generation flagship wireless headphones under the Nirvana sub-brand. According to the company, the headphones are engineered to fully harness the Snapdragon Sound ecosystem and deliver what it describes as a "studio-grade wireless audio experience."
boAt also says the Eutopia 2 Pro will feature premium materials alongside a comfort-focused design aimed at long listening sessions. Gaurav Nayyar, CEO of boAt, said the Snapdragon Sound integration is intended to bring best-in-class wireless audio performance to users across gaming, streaming, and music playback. Shyam Vedantam, Chief Product Officer at boAt, added that the collaboration involved deep engineering optimisation across codecs, connectivity, and the broader audio stack to ensure consistent high-fidelity performance.
Dino Bekis, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Wearable AI at Qualcomm Technologies, said Snapdragon Sound is designed to deliver premium wireless audio with high fidelity, low latency, and reliable connectivity for music, gaming, and voice calls.
Snapdragon Sound Focuses on Lossless and Low-Latency Audio
Snapdragon Sound has increasingly become a key feature in premium wireless audio devices, particularly for users looking for improved Bluetooth audio quality and reduced latency. Qualcomm's audio platform combines hardware and software optimisations to improve streaming quality, connection stability, and responsiveness across supported devices. With the integration of Snapdragon Sound and aptX Lossless, boAt appears to be strengthening its focus on the premium wireless audio segment while expanding the capabilities of its Nirvana lineup.
Launch Expected in H2 2026
The Nirvana Eutopia 2 Pro headphones are confirmed to launch in H2 2026. boAt has not yet revealed pricing, detailed specifications, or availability information for the headphones. The announcement signals a bigger push from boAt towards premium wireless audio experiences, particularly as lossless Bluetooth audio and low-latency performance become increasingly important in flagship headphones and connected ecosystems.
