Acer has announced the launch of the TravelLite TL24-54M, one of India's first business laptops powered by Intel's new Core Series 3 processors based on the Intel 18A process node. The laptop is designed for enterprise, SMBs, educational and government organisations and combines AI-ready performance, enterprise-grade security and a lightweight design for large-scale commercial deployments.
TravelLite Specifications And Features
The Acer TravelLite TL24-54M features a 14-inch Full HD+ display with an 89 per cent screen-to-body ratio, a premium aluminium chassis weighing just 1.22kg, and a 180-degree hinge for easier collaboration. It is powered by Intel Core Series 3 processors, paired with up to 64GB DDR5 RAM and PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage.
The laptop also offers Wi-Fi 7, USB-C with Display and Power Delivery, HDMI 2.1, Gigabit LAN, MIL-STD 810H durability certification, TPM 2.0, BIOS-level security, an integrated privacy shutter, optional fingerprint authentication, Kensington lock support, and Acer FlexiCharger technology for improved battery health.
With the TravelLite TL24-54M, Acer is targeting organisations looking to upgrade their device fleet with AI-ready laptops without moving into premium workstation pricing. The Intel Core Series 3 platform is designed to deliver better efficiency, modern connectivity, and dependable everyday performance for business workloads, making it suitable for enterprises planning long-term IT refresh cycles.
What is Acer Competing With?
The TravelLite TL24-54M will compete with business-focused laptops like the Dell Latitude 3450, HP ProBook 440 series, Lenovo ThinkPad E14, and ASUS ExpertBook lineup. Rather than chasing ultra-premium specifications, Acer is focusing on what matters most to enterprise buyers: portability, security, durability, and long-term reliability. The laptop will be available through Acer's commercial partners, although the company has yet to announce its pricing. Pricing will ultimately determine how competitive it becomes in India's growing commercial laptop market.
