Dell XPS 14 and XPS 16 launch in India with Intel Core Ultra 3 chips and OLED display options

Dell has launched the new XPS 14 and XPS 16 in India, bringing its premium XPS laptop lineup back to the country. The new models come with a redesigned aluminum body, Gorilla Glass 3, and the XPS logo placed at the center of the lid. Dell says the XPS 14 is 14.6 mm thick and weighs 1.36 kg, while the XPS 16 weighs 1.65 kg.

Both laptops are powered by Intel Core Ultra 3 series processors, with configurations going up to the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H. They also use built-in Intel Arc graphics. Dell claims more than 50% faster graphics performance compared to the previous generation, along with up to 57% faster AI performance on the XPS 14 and up to 78% faster AI performance on the XPS 16.

The company has also worked on thermals. The new XPS laptops use larger and thinner fans, which Dell claims improve airflow, keep the base 8 degrees cooler, and reduce noise by 36%. Battery life is another major claim, with Dell saying the laptops can offer up to 27 hours of Netflix streaming or over 40 hours of local video playback, depending on the model and configuration.

For displays, the XPS 14 and XPS 16 offer 2K LCD panels as well as 2.8K or 3.2K Tandem OLED touch display options. Dell says the Tandem OLED panels offer better brightness, longer life, and improved color stability while using less power than previous-generation OLED displays. The laptops also include a 10 W quad-speaker setup, an 8 MP/4K webcam module, and a traditional function row, which returns after feedback from XPS users.

The Dell XPS 14 starts at INR 2,05,990, while the XPS 16 starts at INR 2,78,550. Both laptops will be available through Dell.com, Dell Exclusive Stores, select large-format retail stores, and multi-brand outlets. Dell is also offering cashback, zero down payment finance options, no-cost EMI, and discounted accessory bundles at launch.
