Lenovo has launched its Gen 11 Legion and LOQ gaming laptops in India, introducing the Legion 5i, Legion 5a and LOQ 15AHP11. The new models combine next-generation Intel and AMD processors with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series laptop GPUs, alongside AI-powered performance optimisation and high-refresh-rate displays. The lineup is aimed at users who want a gaming laptop that can also handle demanding creative workloads, with Lenovo highlighting portability, quieter cooling and OLED display options.
Lenovo Legion 5i Specifications And Features
The Legion 5i is the most premium model in the new lineup. It is powered by up to Intel Core Ultra processors and comes with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU with 8GB GDDR7 memory in the India specification listed by Lenovo.
The laptop also features Lenovo AI Engine+ with dual LA1 and LA3 AI Core chips. These enable automatic scenario detection and dynamically adjust CPU, GPU and other system parameters depending on whether the laptop is being used in Balance or Performance mode. The laptop features a 15.3-inch WQXGA OLED display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 165Hz refresh rate and 500 nits brightness. It supports up to 32GB of DDR5 memory and up to 2TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. The 80Wh battery also supports Rapid Charge Pro.
Legion 5a Specifications And Features
The Legion 5a caters to users looking for an AMD-based option. It is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 250 processor and supports NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 or RTX 5050 Laptop GPUs with 8GB GDDR7 memory.
It gets the same 15.3-inch WQXGA OLED 165Hz display as the Legion 5i, along with up to 32GB DDR5 RAM and 2TB PCIe Gen 4 storage. Lenovo AI Engine+ is handled by an LA1 AI Core chip for automatically optimising system performance during demanding workloads. The laptop weighs around 1.87kg and packs an 80Wh battery, while connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 on supported configurations.
Lenovo LOQ 15AHP11 Specifications And Features
The LOQ 15AHP11 is positioned below the Legion models while retaining NVIDIA RTX 50 Series graphics. It is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 250 processor and can be configured with RTX 5060 or RTX 5050 Laptop GPUs.
Lenovo AI Engine+ and the LA1 AI chip handle automatic performance tuning, with the company claiming that the system can help reduce frame drops and lag spikes during gaming. The laptop features a 15.3-inch WQXGA 180Hz IPS display or a WUXGA 165Hz IPS LCD option. It supports up to 32GB DDR5 RAM and 2TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. The laptop weighs around 2.1kg and comes with a 60Wh battery with Rapid Charge Pro.
Lenovo’s specifications also list HyperChamber Cooling for the LOQ 15AHP11, designed to manage airflow and thermal performance.
All three laptops use NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs based on the Blackwell architecture. Lenovo highlights support for NVIDIA DLSS 4 and Reflex 2, alongside AI-powered workloads and NVIDIA Studio capabilities for creators. The RTX 5060 Laptop GPU is rated for up to 572 AI TOPS, while the RTX 5050 can deliver up to 440 AI TOPS, according to Lenovo.
Lenovo Legion 5i, 5a and LOQ 15AHP11 Price in India
The Lenovo Legion 5i (15-inch, Gen 11) is priced at Rs 2,65,990, while the AMD-powered Legion 5a (15-inch, Gen 11) costs Rs 2,25,990.
The more affordable Lenovo LOQ 15AHP11 starts at Rs 1,99,990. All three laptops are available through Lenovo.com, Lenovo exclusive stores and select retail outlets across India. Custom-to-order configurations are also available through Lenovo’s website, with custom orders expected to be delivered within 15 to 20 days.
Lenovo is also bundling support services with the new gaming laptops. Legion Ultimate Support provides 24/7 access to technicians through phone, chat and email, along with mail-in or hands-on repair support.
The company is also offering Accidental Damage Protection, covering non-warranty incidents such as liquid spills, drops and electrical surges.
Lenovo’s Gen 11 lineup gives buyers three distinct options, with the Legion 5i targeting high-end gaming and creative workloads, the Legion 5a offering a similar experience with AMD hardware, and the LOQ 15AHP11 bringing RTX 50 Series graphics to a lower price point.
The Legion 5i and 5a stand out with their 15.3-inch 165Hz OLED panels, while the LOQ focuses more on value with its 180Hz IPS option. At Rs 1,99,990, however, the LOQ is still firmly in the premium gaming laptop segment rather than being an entry-level option.
