MSI has announced the official availability of its Cyborg 15 Max gaming laptop series in India, targeting gamers, students and everyday users looking for portable gaming performance. The lineup comprises the Cyborg 15 Max C2W and Cyborg 15 Max C13W, combining NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs with high-refresh-rate displays and MSI's upgraded cooling system. The new Cyborg 15 Max series is designed around a cyberpunk-inspired aesthetic while keeping the chassis relatively portable.
MSI Cyborg 15 Max C2W Specifications And Features
The Cyborg 15 Max C2W is powered by the Intel Core 7 processor 240H and comes in two GPU configurations. Buyers can choose between the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU with 8GB GDDR7 and the RTX 5050 Laptop GPU with 8GB GDDR7.
MSI has paired the higher power limits with its upgraded Cooler Boost thermal system, which uses dual fans and five heat pipes along with a phase-change thermal material. The company claims the new model delivers a 122% increase in TGP compared with the previous generation, which should help improve sustained gaming performance. Performance is one of the key upgrades in the new generation. The Cyborg 15 Max can deliver up to 100W TGP for the GPU, taking total system power across the CPU and NVIDIA GPU to up to 130W.
Both configurations feature a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS-Level display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB coverage. This makes the panel suitable not only for gaming but also for everyday content creation and media consumption. The laptops come with 16GB DDR5-5600 RAM, with two memory slots supporting up to 96GB RAM. Storage includes a 512GB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD, while two M.2 slots provide room for additional storage upgrades. Connectivity includes one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port with DisplayPort and Power Delivery 3.0 support.
Cyborg 15 Max C13W Specifications And Features
The Cyborg 15 Max C13W takes a slightly more affordable approach, featuring the 13th Gen Intel Core i7-13620H processor paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 Laptop GPU with 8GB GDDR7.
It retains the same 15.6-inch Full HD 144Hz IPS-Level display with 100% sRGB coverage. The laptop comes with 16GB DDR5-5200 RAM, with support for up to 96GB through its two memory slots, and a 512GB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD with two M.2 slots. The C13W also gets the same USB connectivity configuration as the C2W, including USB Type-C with DisplayPort and Power Delivery 3.0 support.
Despite its gaming-focused hardware, MSI has kept the Cyborg 15 Max series relatively portable. The laptops weigh approximately 2kg and measure around 21mm at their thinnest point. The series follows MSI's distinctive cyberpunk-inspired design language, while the chassis has rounded edges intended to make it more comfortable to carry. This makes the laptops suitable for students who may need to take them to college while still wanting dedicated graphics performance for gaming.
MSI Cyborg 15 Max India Availability
MSI has announced the official availability of the Cyborg 15 Max C2W and C13W in India, although pricing is not yet available. The company has positioned the new laptops for Indian gamers, students and everyday users, with availability expected through MSI's retail and online channels.
The Cyborg 15 Max series is an interesting upgrade for buyers looking for a portable entry-level gaming laptop with RTX 50 Series graphics. The RTX 5060 configuration is particularly notable, with MSI pushing the GPU to up to 100W TGP and combining it with a 144Hz 100% sRGB display. The 2kg weight and roughly 21mm profile also make the series more practical for students who want one machine for college, productivity and gaming. The ability to upgrade the memory up to 96GB and use two M.2 SSDs adds further flexibility.
