Qualcomm has announced that its Snapdragon X Elite platform now powers Googlebook, a new category of laptops designed around Google's Gemini Intelligence. The new laptops combine Snapdragon's performance and power efficiency with native Android apps, cross-device connectivity and AI-powered features.
Googlebook Brings Gemini Intelligence to Snapdragon X Elite Laptops
Googlebook laptops are designed to combine Google's Gemini Intelligence with the performance, efficiency and AI capabilities of Snapdragon X Elite. Qualcomm says the laptops are built to provide proactive and personalised assistance while keeping users in their workflow. The platform also enables tighter integration with Snapdragon-powered Android phones and tablets, including support for native Android applications and games. Googlebook introduces features including Cast my Apps, Magic Pointer and Rambler, which are designed to surface relevant information from emails, calendars and on-screen content.
The laptops also support seamless phone integration and Snapdragon NPU-powered tools, while the broader Android ecosystem allows users to run native Android apps and games. Snapdragon Elite Gaming features, including faster frame rates and enhanced graphics, are also supported on Googlebook laptops powered by Snapdragon X Elite.
Dell and HP are the first companies bringing Snapdragon X Elite-powered Googlebook laptops to market. Dell's XPS Googlebook combines the XPS design with Gemini Intelligence, Snapdragon X Elite performance and long battery life. HP's Googlebook 14 similarly combines Snapdragon X Elite, Gemini Intelligence and native Android app support in a premium laptop designed around Google's ecosystem.

Dell and HP are the first OEMs to bring Googlebook laptops powered by Snapdragon X Elite to market. The Dell XPS Googlebook and HP Googlebook 14 are now available for pre-order starting from $899 which estimates to roughly Rs 90,000 in India.
Googlebook marks a new attempt to bring the Android ecosystem closer to the laptop experience. With Snapdragon X Elite providing the underlying performance and efficiency, Google is positioning Gemini, native Android apps and cross-device connectivity as core parts of the computing experience rather than standalone features.
