Lava International has launched a special edition of the Bold N1 5G in India, moving the device to a single upgraded configuration with higher memory and storage. The update follows the original launch in September 2025, with the brand responding to demand for better performance by standardising a more capable variant instead of offering multiple trims.
A Bigger Configuration Now Becomes The Default Experience
The Bold N1 5G is now available in a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration, with support for an additional 6GB of virtual RAM and expansion of storage up to 1 TB. This effectively replaces lower variants, positioning the device around smoother multitasking and more headroom for everyday usage without stepping outside the budget segment. The device carries an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance and features a 2.5D glass-protected display. These additions aim to improve everyday durability without moving into premium build territory.
Large Display And 90Hz Refresh Rate Keep The Experience Fluid
The device features a 6.75-inch HD+ notch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The focus here is straightforward: smoother scrolling and a more consistent viewing experience across content consumption and basic gaming, rather than pushing resolution or brightness as headline features.
Unisoc T765 Drives 5G Connectivity And Everyday Performance
Powering the device is the Unisoc T765 octa-core processor, aimed at delivering stable 5G connectivity along with enough performance for routine tasks. Combined with the memory upgrade, the setup is positioned to handle multitasking, app switching, and general usage without noticeable slowdowns.
4K Video Recording Arrives In The Budget Segment
The Bold N1 5G includes a 13MP AI dual rear camera that supports 4K video recording at 30fps, alongside modes such as Night, Slow Motion, and Time Lapse.
On the front, the device features a 5MP camera for selfies and video calls.
Battery And Charging Stay Practical Rather Than Aggressive
The smartphone is backed by a 5000mAh battery, designed to support full-day usage under typical conditions. It supports Type-C 18W charging, with the focus remaining on reliability rather than fast-charging speeds.
Clean Android 15 Experience With Minimal Additions
Running on Android 15, the Bold N1 5G offers a near-stock experience, focusing on usability without heavy customisation.
This aligns with Lava's broader approach of keeping software simple and responsive in this segment. Lava continues to bundle its Free Service @ Home offering with the device, extending after-sales support without requiring users to visit service centres. This remains one of the brand's more practical differentiators in the budget category.
Pricing And Sale Details
The Bold N1 5G special edition is priced at ₹12,999, with a launch offer bringing it down to ₹11,999.
The device will go on sale starting May 1, 2026, at 12 PM, exclusively via Amazon India. With this update, Lava is not changing the core identity of the Bold N1 5G but refining it. By standardising a higher memory configuration and adding features like 4K video recording, the device is being repositioned as a more complete everyday smartphone, while still staying within the expectations of the budget 5G segment.
