Motorola is positioning the device as a strong option for low-light photography, with AI-driven enhancements designed to improve clarity, dynamic range, and motion capture. Features such as AI Photo Enhancement, Auto Night Vision, and AI Adaptive Stabilisation aim to deliver sharper images and smoother videos, even in challenging conditions.

The Edge 70 Pro features a 6.8-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 5200 nits. The quad-curved design offers a more immersive viewing experience, while Pantone validation ensures accurate colour reproduction.

In terms of design, Motorola is introducing new finishes under its "Collections" branding, including satin, fabric, and marble-inspired textures. The device remains slim at 6.99mm while maintaining a premium in-hand feel.

The device is equipped with a 6500mAh silicon-carbon battery, which Motorola claims can deliver extended usage across streaming, gaming, and daily tasks. It supports 90W fast charging, allowing users to quickly top up the battery when needed.

Durability is another focus area, with the Edge 70 Pro offering IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, along with MIL-STD-810H certification for added protection in extreme conditions.

The smartphone runs on Hello UI based on Android 16 and comes with a promise of three OS upgrades and five years of security updates. It also integrates multiple AI assistants and productivity tools, including real-time transcription and contextual suggestions.
