Nothing Phone (4b) Design Revealed Ahead of July 7 Launch

Nothing has officially unveiled the design of the upcoming Phone (4b) ahead of its July 7 launch. The smartphone will debut as the first device in the company's new ‘b' series, which is aimed at bringing the core Nothing experience to a wider audience while retaining the brand's signature transparent design language.

Familiar Design, New Series

The Phone (4b) combines the refined unibody design of the Phone (4a) Pro with the Glyph Bar introduced on the Phone (4a). While it carries forward Nothing's transparent aesthetic, the company says the design has been reworked with a cleaner layout of internal components and a more youthful appearance.

The transparent rear panel flows seamlessly into the frame, giving the device a familiar Nothing look without simply copying previous models.

Glyph Bar Makes Its Way to the ‘b' Series

One of the biggest highlights is the inclusion of the Glyph Bar, which becomes part of the new series from day one. Although Nothing hasn't revealed its functionality yet, its presence suggests that the company's signature lighting experience won't be reserved for premium devices.

The design also focuses on everyday usability with improved structural strength and a soft-touch finish that's designed to remain comfortable during extended use.

A New Entry Into the Nothing Ecosystem

With the Phone (4b), Nothing is expanding its smartphone portfolio beyond the flagship Phone series. Rather than creating a stripped-down budget device, the company appears to be prioritising the same design identity that has helped define the brand over the past few years.

The new ‘b' series is positioned as an entry point into the Nothing ecosystem, targeting users who want the brand's signature design language at a more accessible tier.

Launch on July 7

Nothing will unveil the Phone (4b) on July 7 at 4:00 PM IST, where the company is expected to announce its specifications, pricing and availability.

For now, the design reveal confirms one thing: Nothing isn't moving away from the transparent look that made it stand out. Instead, it's bringing that identity to an entirely new smartphone series.
