Boat has expanded beyond its audio and wearables portfolio by entering the smart projector segment with the launch of the new CineHead F1 Series. The lineup includes the CineHead F1 and CineHead F1 Pro, both designed to deliver a large-screen home entertainment experience with Official Google TV, Full HD native resolution, Dolby Audio, and intelligent auto-setup features. The move marks Boat's latest push into the home entertainment space while continuing its Made-in-India strategy.
Boat CineHead F1 Series Specifications
The Boat CineHead F1 Pro comes with 500 ANSI lumens brightness, 1080p Full HD native resolution with support for 4K content, and a 10W Dolby Audio speaker. Meanwhile, the standard CineHead F1 features 300 ANSI lumens brightness, the same 1080p Full HD native resolution with 4K support, and a 6W Dolby Audio speaker. Both models support projection sizes of up to 120 inches, while the CineHead F1 also includes a sealed dust-proof optical engine rated for up to 30,000 hours of lamp life.
Powering both projectors is a MediaTek processor paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, HDMI, HDMI ARC/eARC, USB, and AUX, enabling easy connectivity with gaming consoles, laptops, streaming devices, and sound systems. Both models also support auto-focus, auto-keystone correction, obstacle avoidance, and feature an adjustable stand for quick installation with minimal manual alignment.
Price and Availability
The Boat CineHead F1 Pro is available at an introductory price of Rs. 32,999 through the official Boat website, Amazon, Flipkart, and select offline retail stores. The standard CineHead F1 will launch later this month, with its pricing and availability set to be announced closer to its release.
Until now, Boat has largely built its reputation around affordable audio products and wearables. With the CineHead F1 Series, the company is expanding into visual entertainment, aiming to offer consumers an all-in-one smart projector experience instead of simply competing in the crowded smart TV market. By combining Google TV, Dolby Audio, intelligent setup features, and a Made-in-India approach, Boat is entering a category where brands such as XGIMI, BenQ, Epson, and Xiaomi have already established a presence.
The challenge for Boat will now be translating its strong brand recognition in audio into a competitive position in the projector segment. If the company can deliver reliable performance at aggressive pricing, the CineHead F1 Series could appeal to users looking for a flexible home entertainment solution without investing in a large television.
