OnePlus is preparing to launch its newest budget smartphone in India, the OnePlus N6, on June 30 at 12 PM IST. The upcoming handset will mark the debut of the company’s new N-series lineup in the country and is expected to target buyers looking for a feature-packed smartphone at an affordable price.
While OnePlus has already confirmed a few key details, recent benchmark listings have revealed additional information about the device’s processor, RAM, and software.
OnePlus N6 Expected Specifications
One of the biggest highlights of the OnePlus N6 will be its massive 8,000mAh battery. OnePlus claims the phone can deliver up to three days of usage on a single charge, making it one of the largest batteries ever seen in a mainstream smartphone from the company.
The brand has also stated that the battery is designed to maintain its health for up to seven years, a claim that could appeal to buyers planning to use their devices for longer periods.
The smartphone will be available in at least two colour options, including green and black. Official images reveal a minimalist design with a flat rear panel, rounded corners, and a dual-camera setup housed in two large circular camera rings. The phone also features a centred punch-hole display on the front and slim bezels around the screen.
OnePlus has confirmed that the N6 will be sold through Amazon India following its launch.
Geekbench listing reveals processor and software details
Ahead of the official unveiling, a OnePlus smartphone carrying the model number CPH2955 has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the listing belongs to the upcoming OnePlus N6.
The benchmark listing suggests the phone will be powered by MediaTek’s MT6835 chipset. While the exact processor name has not been confirmed, the chip is believed to be either the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 or the Dimensity 6100+.
The processor reportedly includes two performance cores clocked at up to 2.4GHz and six efficiency cores running at 2.0GHz. Graphics duties are expected to be handled by the ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
The Geekbench listing also reveals 5.49GB of RAM, which will likely be marketed as 6GB RAM. Additional memory variants could also be introduced when the phone launches.
Interestingly, the device appears to be running Android 16 out of the box, likely paired with OnePlus’ OxygenOS 16 interface.
If accurate, this would make the N6 one of the first budget smartphones in India to ship with Google’s latest Android version.
In Geekbench testing, the smartphone scored 788 points in the single-core benchmark and 1,993 points in the multi-core test. The same model also appeared on Geekbench AI, achieving scores of 532 in single precision, 945 in half precision, and 1,072 in quantized testing.
OnePlus N6 Pricing in India (Expected)
OnePlus has already confirmed that the N6 will be priced between Rs. 18,000 and Rs. 25,000. If the company manages to deliver strong battery life, clean software, and competitive performance within that range, the OnePlus N6 could emerge as a serious contender in India’s crowded budget smartphone market.
With the launch now just days away, buyers won’t have to wait long to find out whether the N6 can live up to the expectations surrounding OnePlus’ return to the affordable smartphone segment.
