OPPO Find X9s Launching Soon: Expected Specifications, Pricing, and All You Need To Know

OPPO has confirmed that the Find X9s will launch in India this May alongside the Find X9 Ultra. The announcement comes via OPPO India's official social channels, marking a shift in strategy as India joins the global rollout cycle. The devices were first unveiled in China, Southeast Asia, and Europe on April 21.

While OPPO has not revealed an exact launch date, leaks suggest the India debut could happen around May 15. The Find X9s is expected to sit below the Find X9 in the lineup, offering a more balanced flagship experience at a slightly lower price point.

OPPO Find X9s Expected Price

According to a tipster, the OPPO Find X9s could be priced at around Rs 70,000 in India. If accurate, this would position it just below the Find X9, which starts at Rs 74,999. This pricing strategy suggests that OPPO is aiming to create a more accessible flagship option without compromising too much on core features.

With the Find X9, Find X9 Pro, and now the Find X9s and Find X9 Ultra, OPPO appears to be expanding its flagship portfolio to cover a wider range of users—from performance-focused buyers to those prioritising camera capabilities.

OPPO Find X9s Expected Specifications

The Find X9s is expected to feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2760 x 1256 pixels. It will support a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate, offering smooth visuals and responsive touch performance. The screen will be protected by Gorilla Glass 7i and is said to have slim, uniform bezels measuring around 1.15mm.

In terms of design, the phone will feature a square-shaped rear camera module, slightly different from the Pro variant. It will be available in colour options such as Midnight Grey, Lavender Sky, and Sunset Orange, with some reports also mentioning peach, lilac, and grey finishes.

Powering the Find X9s will likely be the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Storage options are expected to include 256GB and 512GB variants with UFS 4.1 support.

The smartphone will run on Android 16 with ColorOS 16 on top, bringing the latest software features and optimisations.

The Find X9s is expected to offer a triple rear camera setup, tuned in collaboration with Hasselblad. This includes a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 50MP telephoto lens with OIS, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera with autofocus. On the front, users will get a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls.

This setup positions the device as a versatile camera phone, though it will likely sit below the Ultra variant in terms of overall imaging capabilities.

Battery life is another key highlight. The Find X9s is expected to pack a 7,025mAh battery with support for 80W wired SUPERVOOC charging. The device is also relatively slim at 7.99mm and weighs around 202 grams.

OPPO Find X9s: Should You Buy It?

The OPPO Find X9s appears to be designed as a balanced flagship, combining strong performance, a large battery, and a capable camera system. It could appeal to users looking for flagship-level features without stepping into ultra-premium pricing.

However, since pricing and some details are still based on leaks, it may be worth waiting for the official launch and reviews before making a purchase decision.
