Oppo has confirmed the launch of a new budget smartphone in India, the Oppo K14 Lite, which will expand the company's K-series lineup further. The smartphone is scheduled to debut on September 16 at 12pm and will be available via Flipkart, with sales likely extending to Oppo's official online store and offline retail outlets soon after. The K14 Lite will join the existing Oppo K14 and K14x, and is expected to be positioned as the most affordable model in the series. The standout feature of the Oppo K14 Lite is its 7,000mAh battery, which is being positioned as its primary highlight. Oppo claims that the phone can deliver extended usage, including over a full day of use, along with long-term battery reliability of up to six years.
On the front, the smartphone is confirmed to feature a 6.75-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, which should offer smoother scrolling and animations compared to standard 60Hz panels commonly seen in this segment.
Design, Colours, and Other Key Hardware Details
If you take a close look at the teasers, they reveal the Oppo K14 Lite in brown and purple colour options, with a textured finish on select variants. The rear panel features a dual-camera setup housed inside a rectangular module, giving it a slightly distinct look compared to other devices in the price range.
In terms of hardware, the phone is expected to run on an octa-core chipset, likely the Unisoc T7250, paired with 4GB RAM, with additional virtual RAM support. It is also tipped to include a 13-megapixel primary camera and come with an IP64 rating.
