Realme has officially revealed the design of the Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition ahead of its India launch. Created as part of Realme's expanded collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, the special-edition smartphone brings elements from the wizarding world to the Realme 16 Pro. The phone is set to launch in India on September 21, 2026.
Following the Realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones Limited Edition, the new Harry Potter Edition takes a much more detailed approach to its design, with Hogwarts-inspired elements incorporated into the phone itself as well as its packaging.
Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition Design
The Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition comes in a brown finish with a premium leather texture. The rear panel features an Argyle pattern inspired by the Wizard's Chess scene, giving the phone a distinctive textured appearance while connecting it to one of the memorable visual elements from the Harry Potter universe. The Hogwarts Crest is subtly placed at the centre of the rear panel. Realme has also redesigned the camera area around the phone's Metal Mirror Camera Deco, with the module styled to resemble the bright eyes of Hedwig, Harry Potter's owl.
Adding another Harry Potter reference, the words "Welcome to Hogwarts" are laser-engraved onto the metallic mid-frame. These details make the phone more than a standard colour variant, with the design built specifically around the Hogwarts theme.
Hogwarts-Themed Limited Edition Gifting Box
Alongside the phone, Realme is introducing what it describes as a world-first Hogwarts-themed limited-edition gifting box. Only 5,000 units of the special box will be available worldwide. The packaging is designed as a 1:1 replica of Harry Potter's iconic trunk, recreating the feeling of Harry's first journey to Hogwarts.
Inside, buyers will find a customised Hogwarts Welcome Pack containing several themed accessories. The package includes a Hogwarts acceptance letter and train ticket, Hogwarts Crest bookmarks, character postcards featuring Harry, Hermione and Ron, along with a phone case carrying the Hogwarts logo and a phone pin. This makes the packaging a major part of the limited-edition experience rather than simply a different box for the smartphone.
Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition India Launch
The Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition will launch in India on September 21 at 12 noon. Realme is also planning a dedicated Harry Potter Edition Pop-up Launch on the same day, designed around the Hogwarts theme.
The company has not yet revealed the price, complete specifications or availability details of the Harry Potter Edition. Realme is expected to share more information around the launch, although specs are believed to be the same as the normal 16 Pro.
While Realme has focused its latest announcement entirely on the design and limited-edition experience, the underlying smartphone is based on the Realme 16 Pro. The company has not disclosed whether the Harry Potter Edition will receive any hardware changes compared with the standard model.
For now, the standout elements are the customised rear panel, Hogwarts Crest, Hedwig-inspired camera module, laser-engraved branding and the highly detailed trunk-style gifting box.
The Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition is clearly aimed at Harry Potter fans rather than users simply looking for another smartphone colourway. The attention to detail on the rear panel and camera module is complemented by the trunk-style packaging and the Hogwarts Welcome Pack, making the overall package feel more like a collector's edition. The biggest question now is pricing. Realme has already established a track record of themed limited editions with collaborations such as the Game of Thrones Edition, but the 5,000-unit Hogwarts gifting box could make this version particularly interesting for collectors. With the India launch scheduled for September 21, we won't have to wait long to find out how much this wizarding-world makeover will cost.
