Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi A7 and Redmi A7 Pro in India, expanding its entry-level smartphone lineup with a focus on display size, battery efficiency, and everyday usability. The series is positioned as a reliable option for users prioritising basic performance and long-lasting usage. With the A7 series, Xiaomi is targeting users looking for dependable smartphones with essential features rather than aggressive specifications.
The A7 series comes with 64GB storage and LPDDR4X RAM, along with virtual RAM expansion. The devices are designed for routine usage such as browsing and media consumption. The A7 Pro includes features such as Google Gemini and Circle to Search, aimed at improving user interaction through AI tools.
Larger Displays With High Refresh Rate On The Pro Model
The Redmi A7 features a 6.88-inch display, while the A7 Pro offers a 6.9-inch HD+ display with up to 120Hz refresh rate. Both devices include TÜV Rheinland certifications and wet touch technology for improved usability.
Battery Efficiency With Reverse Charging Support
Both smartphones support 15W charging and include a charger in the box, along with 7.5W reverse wired charging for added utility with battery management features included to optimise usage.
Entry-Level Pricing With Broad Online And Offline Availability
The Redmi A7 is priced at ₹10,999 for the 3GB + 64GB variant, while the Redmi A7 Pro is priced at ₹11,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant.
The devices will be available from April 23 via Mi.com, Amazon India, Flipkart, and retail stores.
