The Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G has gone on sale in India today, September 17, 2026. The smartphone features a 9,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, 67W HyperCharge support, a 120Hz AMOLED display and a 50MP OIS camera.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G packs a 9,000mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 67W HyperCharge. Xiaomi includes a 67W charging adapter in the box, allowing users to access the phone's fast-charging capabilities without purchasing a separate adapter.
The smartphone also supports 22.5W wired reverse charging, allowing users to charge compatible devices using the phone's battery. The Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G features a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED Super Sunlight Display with a resolution of 2772 × 1280 pixels. The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 12-bit colour depth and up to 3,500 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 Mobile Platform, built on a 4nm process. It features an octa-core CPU clocked at up to 2.4GHz, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. For photography, the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G features a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), an f/1.8 aperture and a 5P lens. It is accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide camera.
On the front, the smartphone features a 16MP camera with an f/2.4 aperture, supporting HDR and AI Beautify capabilities for selfies and video calls. The Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G comes with Corning Gorilla Victus 2 protection and an IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K rating. Xiaomi says the device also carries Double Five-Star Quality Certifications from SGS and TÜV as part of its Titan Quality standard.
