Haier has launched its Desert Rose Super Heavy Duty air conditioner range in India, introducing a new premium lineup powered by its AI-AtmoX platform. The series starts at Rs 55,990 and will be available across online and offline channels.
With this launch, Haier is positioning the Desert Rose series as a high-performance solution designed for extreme Indian summers, combining heavy-duty cooling with AI-driven automation across comfort, energy management, and maintenance.
AI-AtmoX Brings Automation Across Cooling, Savings, And Maintenance
The Desert Rose range is built around three key pillars: AI for comfort, AI for savings, and AI for service. Features such as AI Climate Control 2.0 analyse user habits, room conditions, and external weather to adjust cooling automatically, while Dynamic Environmental Adaptation fine-tunes performance in real time.
The AC also introduces AI Target Cooling, which directs airflow towards occupants, and AI Pre-Cooling, which uses a 100-metre geofence to begin cooling before the user arrives.
On the efficiency front, AI ECO and AI Human Detection help optimise power consumption by adjusting cooling when the room is unoccupied. The system can automatically shift modes or power off after detecting inactivity, reducing manual intervention.
For maintenance, Haier has integrated automated cleaning across both units. The indoor unit uses a frost-based self-cleaning cycle every 240 hours, while the outdoor unit features reverse airflow cleaning to remove dust from condenser coils, aimed at maintaining long-term efficiency.
Designed For Indian Conditions With High Cooling Claims
Haier is also highlighting its Supersonic Cooling technology, which claims to deliver cooling in as little as 10 seconds. The Desert Rose series is positioned as a heavy-duty AC capable of operating in high ambient temperatures, targeting regions with harsh summer conditions.
The lineup will be available in two variants, including models with Gold Stripe and Nebula Blue Stripe finishes.
Positioning Reflects Broader Shift Towards Smart Cooling
The launch comes at a time when air conditioner brands are increasingly focusing on smart features and energy optimisation as key differentiators. With rising temperatures and higher electricity costs, the emphasis is gradually shifting from raw cooling capacity to intelligent performance and efficiency.
