Reliance Jio has expanded its smart accessories portfolio with the launch of the JioTag 2 in India. The biggest highlight of the new Bluetooth tracker is its support for both Apple Find My and Google Find Hub, making it one of the few trackers in the country that works seamlessly across Android and iPhone ecosystems.
JioTag 2 Specifications And Features
The most significant addition to the JioTag 2 is its dual-platform compatibility. Android users can track tagged items through Google's Find Hub network, while iPhone and iPad users can use Apple's native Find My app without downloading an additional companion application.
This makes the JioTag 2 far more versatile than its predecessors. The original JioTag relied on the JioThings app, while the later JioTag Go shifted exclusively to Google's tracking ecosystem, leaving iPhone users behind. With the latest version, Jio has brought cross-platform compatibility back, making the tracker suitable for households that use both Android and Apple devices or users planning to switch ecosystems in the future.
Like other Bluetooth trackers, the JioTag 2 is designed to help users keep track of everyday belongings such as keys, wallets, backpacks, luggage and handbags. It connects over Bluetooth Low Energy and features a built-in 120dB buzzer that can be triggered from the paired device whenever the tagged item is nearby.

The JioTag 2 is priced at Rs. 1,249 and is available in Black, Green and Red colour options through Amazon India.
While it is priced higher than the original JioTag, which debuted at Rs. 749, it remains more affordable than many competing Bluetooth trackers while offering broader compatibility than previous Jio models.
