Xiaomi has expanded its power bank portfolio in India with three new models, targeting different charging needs ranging from lightweight wireless top-ups to high-speed charging for laptops and multiple devices. The new lineup includes the Xiaomi UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 15W, Xiaomi Magnetic Power Bank 10000 45W and Xiaomi Power Bank 20000 165W.
Xiaomi UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 Specifications
The Xiaomi UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 15W is designed for users who prioritise portability. It measures just 6mm in thickness and weighs 98g, making it easy to carry in a pocket or small bag.
The power bank packs a 5,000mAh battery and supports magnetic wireless charging at up to 15W. Its USB-C port can deliver up to 22.5W wired output. It can also charge two devices simultaneously, with up to 7.5W through USB-C and 5W wirelessly when both charging methods are used together. It comes in Radiant Orange, Glacier Silver and Graphite Black.
Xiaomi Magnetic Power Bank 10000 Specifications
The Xiaomi Magnetic Power Bank 10000 45W doubles the capacity while adding faster wired charging. It supports Qi 2.2 wireless charging at up to 25W and features 13N magnetic attraction. It also comes with an integrated USB-C cable, eliminating the need to carry a separate cable. Wired output reaches up to 45W, while support for QC 2.0, PD and PPS allows it to work with a range of compatible devices. The model is available in White and Black.
Xiaomi Power Bank 20000 165W Specifications
The most powerful model in the new lineup is the Xiaomi Power Bank 20000 165W, which packs a 20,000mAh battery and can deliver up to 165W of combined output. Its first USB-C port supports up to 120W, while the second USB-C port can deliver up to 45W. The integrated USB-C cable can also provide up to 120W output, while a USB-A port adds another option for charging additional devices. The power bank also features a colour digital display that shows battery level, charging and discharging status, estimated time and other charging indicators. It supports QC 3.5, PD 3.0 (PPS), BC 1.2 and Apple 2.4A charging protocols.
Xiaomi Power Banks Price and Availability in India
The Xiaomi UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 15W has an MRP of Rs 5,999 and will be available at a limited-period launch price of Rs 5,599 from September 11.
The Xiaomi Power Bank 20000 165W carries an MRP of Rs 5,499 and will be available for Rs 4,999 during the launch period, also starting September 11. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Magnetic Power Bank 10000 45W is priced at Rs 3,999 and will be available for Rs 3,699 during the launch offer from September 15. All three models will be sold through Amazon, Flipkart, mi.com, Xiaomi retail stores, Swiggy Instamart, Blinkit and Zepto.
Xiaomi's new lineup makes more sense as a range than as three competing products. The UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 is aimed at users who want something genuinely pocket-friendly, while the 10,000mAh model adds a useful combination of magnetic charging and 45W wired output.
The 20,000mAh 165W model is the most interesting of the three, especially for users carrying a laptop, smartphone and other accessories. Its 120W USB-C output and 165W combined charging make it considerably more capable than a typical phone-focused power bank.
At their launch prices, the three models cover a fairly wide range of charging requirements, giving buyers the option to choose between portability, wireless convenience and maximum charging power.
