You would think that after the MWC madness in February and a busy March, smartphone companies would slow down a bit in April. However, April saw several exciting smartphone launches, from the latest OnePlus Nord device to HMD’s debut Pulse series of smartphones. Here are the best smartphones launched in India and globally in April 2024.

OnePlus Nord CE 4

The OnePlus Nord CE 4 is the latest Nord series smartphone and was officially launched in India in April. The newest mid-range smartphone starts at Rs 24,999 in India and is offered in 128GB and 256GB variants with 8GB RAM.

This smartphone’s highlights include an Aquatouch display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, a 5500mAh battery unit with 100W SuperVOOC fast charging, and a 50MP Sony LYT600 sensor with a 1/1.95-inch sensor size.

Motorola Edge 50 Series

Motorola launched the Edge 50 Pro in India in early April and introduced the Edge 50 series comprising the Edge 50 Fusion, the Edge 50 Pro, and the Edge 50 Ultra globally in mid-April. All three models flaunt a 6.7-inch Curved pOLED 144Hz display, Snapdragon processors, 50MP OIS primary camera, and up to 5,000mAh battery with TurboPower fast charging.

TECNO CAMON 30 Series

TECNO launched its latest flagship CAMON 30 series after showcasing it at the MWC 2024. The brand has launched these smartphones in Nigeria, but they are also expected to come to India. These camera-centric smartphones come with 50MP cameras on the back and front with dual flash.

Some of the key features of the CAMON 30, CAMON 30 5G, and CAMON 30 Pro 5G include a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with up to 144Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Dimensity processor, Android 14-based HiOS 14, and more. These handsets are equipped with a 5000mAh battery and 70W fast charging support.

Samsung Galaxy M55 5G and M15 5G

HMD Pulse Series

HMD Global—the Nokia brand licensee—has launched its own brand of smartphones under the Pulse series. The company has debuted in the smartphone market with three HMD-branded devices: HMD Pulse, HMD Pulse+, and HMD Pulse Pro globally.

The highlight of these devices is self-reparability, which means users can repair them by self-using instructions provided on the official website. Infinix Note 40 Pro Series

The vivo T3X 5G was launched in India as the most powerful smartphone in the segment. The phone starts at Rs 12,499 and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor. It comes with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB expandable storage.

The budget vivo smartphone offers a 120Hz LCD screen with a Full HD+ resolution, a 50MP primary shooter, and a 6000mAh battery with 44W fast charging. The IP64-rated device boots Android 14-based FuntouchOS 14 out of the box.

Realme NARZO 70 Series

Realme launched two new NARZO devices called the NARZO 70x 5G and the NARZO 70 5G in India. The latest NARZO devices come with Horizon design, which differs from past phones in the NARZO series. Additionally, these phones also flaunt the Rainwater Smart Touch display.

Realme C65 5G
