To his niece, Sundari (Sahasra Sree), Chithha (short for Chithappa, which means uncle in English) is a loving uncle. For her, Siddharth is a father figure. He helps his sister-in-law, who recently lost her husband, bathes her and combs her hair. Not only does he is protective of Sundari, but he also overprotects her friends. In their neighbourhood, there have been numerous alleged rapes and kidnappings. And it makes a lot of sense, that he is overprotective of his niece and her friends.
