Official Trailer and Plot of Thanglaan
Makers of the movie released a teaser of the movie recently, which created quite a buzz among the audiences. The 90-second teaser for Thangalaan says, “As myth leads to history, as greed leads to destruction, as blood wars lead to liberty, rises the son of gold,” which offers glimpses into what appears to be the story of a tribal leader’s battle against people attempting to capture their land to mine gold. The movie is supposedly based on a true incident that took place in India’s Kolar Gold Fields during the British Empire.

The film’s director is Pa Ranjith. The film’s main lead is Chiyaan Vikram. In addition to Pasupathy, Daniel Caltagirone, and Harikrishnan Anbudurai in prominent parts, Thangalaan stars Parvathy and Malavika Mohanan as the female leads. The film has editing by Selva RK and cinematography by A Kishor Kumar, with music composed by GV Prakash Kumar. The screenplay was co-written by Tamil Praba and Pa Ranjith. Neelam Productions and Studio Green are the producers of Thangalaan.
