OPPO’s Soloop Video Editing App Now Available for Download for Select Realme devices

Users of select Realme smartphones can now download and use the Soloop video editing app from the Realme App Store

It was late last year that OPPO introduced the newest iteration of ColorOS in the form of ColorOS 7. The latest version of the operating system incorporated a lot of new features — one of them being an updated version of OPPO’s own video editing app called Soloop. Until now, this app was only officially available on the devices it came preloaded on — all of them being OPPO devices. Starting this week, however, Soloop is available for multiple devices from Realme (which is an OPPO sub-brand). Realme made an official announcement regarding the availability of Soloop on their community forum on April 21.

Realme customers who own select handsets from the company can now download the app from Realme’s own App Market, the forum post revealed. The post goes on to add that the following handsets from Realme will officially support the installation of Soloop.

• realme 5i
• realme 5
• realme 5s
• realme 5 Pro
• realme 6
• realme C3
• realme 3 Pro
• realme X50 Pro
• realme XT
• realme X2 Pro
• realme X

To install Soloop on these devices, all you need to do is to go to the App Market and search for Solop following which you can complete the installation process. Realme has also added that it plans to add more devices to the ‘supported’ list in the future.

OPPO describes Soloop as a ‘compact video editing application made for smartphones that allows users to create instant slideshows of photos and videos.’ Users can also edit photos and videos manually and put your creativity into it with some transitions, texts,  filters, and some music. The app is claimed to be very simple to use and will attract users who make lots of short videos for their social media handles.

In case you have used the Soloop app on other OPPO handsets and were waiting for the company to launch the software for Realme devices, you now have that option. Let us know what you think of Soloop after you install and use the app on your Realme handset.
