KRAFTON India has rolled out the Real Cricket 5.3 update, introducing a new One-Over Duel mode alongside a fresh multiplayer season, revamped player cards and updated tournament squads. The update is designed to offer players a quicker way to compete against friends and other players without requiring both participants to be online simultaneously.
Real Cricket 5.3 Update Introduces One-Over Duel Mode
The biggest addition in the Real Cricket 5.3 update is One-Over Duel, a new asynchronous 1v1 player-versus-player mode that lets users compete in a single six-ball over. Unlike traditional live multiplayer matches, players do not need to be online at the same time. Each participant bats independently, and the player who scores more runs across their over wins the duel. An innings ends early if a player loses two wickets.
Players can challenge opponents anytime, with the rival receiving a notification to play their turn. Winning duels earns XP and exclusive milestone rewards, giving users a quicker way to engage in competitive cricket without committing to a full match. The update also introduces a new competitive multiplayer season, giving players a fresh leaderboard to climb as part of the game's ongoing competitive progression. Alongside the new season, Real Cricket has received a revamped multiplayer player card interface with an updated visual design aimed at delivering a more immersive experience.
KRAFTON India has updated squads across several cricket tournaments and series to keep the game's rosters aligned with the ongoing international cricket calendar. The squad updates include the International squad update, USA Cricket League, West Indies Premier League and Lanka Super League.

The Real Cricket 5.3 update is now live for all players on Android and iOS. The update brings the new One-Over Duel mode, a refreshed multiplayer season, redesigned player cards and updated tournament squads. With One-Over Duel, players can take on opponents in a six-ball contest without having to coordinate their online schedules, while the refreshed multiplayer season and updated squads add new content to the game.
