Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G Retail Packaging Surface; Could Support MagCharge Tech

Infinix is prepping up for the launch of the Infinix Note 40 series smartphones. The Note 40 series will likely consist of the Note 40, Note 40 Pro, Note 40 Pro 5G, and Note 40 Pro+ smartphones. Ahead of the launch, the live image of the retail packaging of the upcoming Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G smartphone has surfaced online, courtesy of Gizmochina.

Infnix Note 40 Pro+ 5G: Expected Specifications

The packaging reveals that the Infinix Note 40 Pro+ will support 100W wired charging. The report indicates that Infiinix is set to debut the All-Round FastCharge technology 2.0 with the upcoming smartphone.

The device is also set to debut with support for MagCharge wireless charging tech. However, the image doesn’t reveal the exact wattage the upcoming Note 40 Pro+ 5G will support. For those who don’t know, the MagCharge tech allows the smartphone to wirelessly charge with a magnet, which is more efficient than traditional wireless chargers. This is similar to Apple’s MagSafe charging tech.

The live image also suggests that Infinix will debut the smartphone with a curved AMOLED display. The smartphone was recently certified by Indonesia’s SDPPI, which confirmed the X6851B model number and Note 40 Pro+ 5G moniker. The retail packaging doesn’t reveal any other specifications of the smartphone.

Infinix Note 40 Series: What We Know So Far

The Infinix Note 40 and Note 40 Pro smartphones previously obtained the Google Play Console certification, which confirmed the presence of MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. The smartphones will sport a display with a screen resolution of 1080×2436 pixels and a pixel density of 480 PPI.

The FCC documents confirm that the vanilla Note 40 will debut with support for 45W wired charging tech and 5W wireless charging tech. In contrast, the documents reveal that the Note 40 Pro will support 70W wired charging tech.

The Bluetooth SIG listing also confirmed the presence of the Bluetooth 5.3 protocol. Another certification reveals that the Note 40 and Note 40 Pro could be backed by a 5,000mAh battery. The other specifications and the launch date of the smartphone are currently under wraps.
