Insta360 Ace and Ace Pro action cameras launched with flip display, Leica branding, and magnetic mount. The new models from the Ace series join the Insta360 One and Go lineup of action cameras. While One and Go models were not as popular, Insta360 is aiming to take on the DJI Osmo Action 4 and GoPro Hero 12 Black. To give stiff competition to the market leaders, the new Ace and Ace Pro action cameras come with a flip display, 5nm AI processor, Leica tuning, and advanced AI editing features. Insta360 Ace, Ace Pro Price, and Availability

The Insta360 Ace is the base model priced at $449.99 (~Rs 37,000). On the other hand, the Pro model comes with a price tag of $546.99 (~Rs 45,500). The company is offering these cameras with various kits like Creator Kit, Motorcycle Kit, Cycling Kit, Splash Kit, Winter Kit, GPS-ready Kit, and Endurance Kit, with prices going up to $686 (~Rs 57,200). The company is also offering a freebie Insta360 T-shirt on purchase of these cameras. These cameras are available in a single Black colour option. Insta360 Ace, Ace Pro Specifications and Features

Both Insta 360 Ace and Ace Pro come with a 2.4-inch flip touchscreen and Leica-tuned lenses. The base model features a Leica Summarit lens with a smaller 1/2-inch sensor featuring f/2.4 aperture and 16mm focal length. On the other hand, the Ace Pro comes with a large 1/1.3-inch sensor with f/2.6 aperture and 16mm focal length.

The Insta360 Ace can record up to 6K videos at 30fps, whereas the Pro variant supports up to 8K videos at 24fps. Both Ace and Ace Pro can click 48-megapixel (8,064 x 6,048) pictures and record 4K videos at 120fps. These cameras don’t have built-in storage but support microSD cards up to 1TB.

There’s a 5nm AI processor powering both cameras with integrated AI features like AI Highlights Assitant, AI Warp, and AI Selfie Stick Eraser. These features enhance the editing experience and allow users to get creative with their videos. Apart from these, the new Insta360 Ace cameras offer free-frame video, slow motion, starlapse, timelapse, timeShift, pre-recording, loop recording, HDR, interval, burst and starlapse photo modes.

Additionally, there is gesture control, voice control, and an option to pause or cancel a recording. There’s also a Stats Dashboard feature, which allows users to connect Garmin or Apple Watch to overlay GPS, speed, and other data on their videos.

Insta360 claims that Ace and Ace Pro can survive underwater up to 10 meters and up to 60 meters with the Dive Case. The brand has equipped the latest launches with a magnetic mounting system, which allows users to quickly mount their cameras or switch between accessories. Both models measure 71.9 x 52.15 x 38.5mm and weigh 176.8 gms.

The Ace Pro action camera packs a 1,650mAh battery and comes with a 30W charger that can fully charge the battery from zero to 100% in 46 minutes. On the other hand, the base model features a 1,700mAh battery that charges fully in 70 minutes through a 15W charger. Insta360 claims that these cameras can last up to 100 minutes on a single charge while recording 4K videos with Active HDR at 30fps.

The Insta360 Ace and Ace Pro action cameras are compatible with iOS devices running on Bionic A12 and iOS 12 or newer. For Android, they require Snapdragon 855, Exynos 2200, and Kirin 990 or newer chips with Android 10 or above.
