Airtel has partnered with YouTube to bring YouTube Premium benefits to its prepaid customers through its Rs 200 OTT top-up pack. The offering includes an ad-free YouTube experience, background playback, offline downloads and YouTube Music Premium, expanding the telecom operator's existing entertainment benefits.
Airtel Rs 200 OTT Top-Up: What Does It Offer?
The Airtel Rs 200 OTT top-up combines additional mobile data with premium entertainment benefits. Eligible customers get 30GB of extra data alongside YouTube Premium, which removes ads from YouTube videos, including Shorts, and enables background playback and offline downloads. YouTube Music Premium is also included, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
With this addition, Airtel is expanding its entertainment offering beyond traditional streaming services to include creator-led videos, music and short-form content.
How to Claim YouTube Premium on Airtel
The Rs 200 top-up is available to Airtel prepaid customers who have an active recharge, across existing prepaid plans. Customers can purchase the top-up and then claim YouTube Premium through the Rewards & OTTs section of the Airtel app. The entertainment benefits remain valid for 28 days, in line with the top-up's validity. Once the validity expires, customers can purchase the top-up again and reclaim the YouTube Premium benefit if they want to continue using the service.
Airtel's YouTube partnership broadens the appeal of its Rs 200 OTT top-up by bringing music streaming, creator content and ad-free video viewing into the same bundle as additional mobile data. For prepaid users who regularly watch YouTube or listen to music on their phones, this could offer more value than a data-only add-on. However, customers should check the applicable terms and the benefit's 28-day validity before recharging.
