Motorola has launched Motorollers, its official community app in India, designed to bring smartphone users, creators and technology enthusiasts together around shared interests. Available to all Android users through the Google Play Store, the platform introduces interest-based communities, interactive discussions and dedicated channels for Motorola product announcements, offers and updates.
The app extends Motorola's engagement beyond its smartphone customers, allowing users to connect over topics such as AI, photography, travel, gaming, sports and lifestyle. The company says Motorollers is built around the philosophy "Connect. Share. Discover."
Motorola Motorollers App Features
At the centre of Motorollers are communities called Tribes, which bring together users with similar interests. Members can create profiles, publish content, participate in discussions and build their audience within the platform.
Motorollers also includes interactive formats designed to encourage participation. Vibe Check lets users create or participate in polls, while Hot Take offers a space to share opinions. Deep Dive is intended for longer discussions and in-depth articles. These features are designed to give users a dedicated space to exchange ideas and discover communities beyond their existing social circles.
Beyond community discussions, the app will serve as a destination for Motorola announcements, upcoming product launches, new developments and special offers. Users will be able to discover discounts and coupons through dedicated brand channels.
Motorola also plans to host interactive campaigns, polls and community-led initiatives on the platform. Its retail partners and promoters will participate as community experts, sharing product information and answering questions to help users make informed purchasing decisions. The app is not restricted to Motorola smartphone owners, meaning Android users with devices from other brands can also join the community.
Motorola says it plans to introduce a rewards programme in future phases. The proposed initiative will recognise active participation and meaningful contributions from community members. Future updates could also include partner-led benefits, exclusive member experiences and additional rewards. However, Motorola has not announced a launch timeline or detailed terms for the planned programme.
Motorola Motorollers App Availability
The Motorollers app is now available to download through the Google Play Store. Android users can join the community, explore Tribes and participate in discussions without needing to own a Motorola smartphone.
Motorollers gives Motorola a dedicated platform to build relationships with users beyond individual product launches, combining interest-based communities with brand updates and potential rewards. Its open access for Android users could help the company reach a wider audience, while the planned involvement of retail partners may make the app useful for product-related queries. The platform's long-term appeal will depend on how actively users participate and how consistently Motorola delivers useful discussions, exclusive benefits and community experiences.
