iQOO seems to be expanding its smartphone line in the home country China with the launch of a new phone called the iQOO Neo 5 Vitality Edition. Earlier today the company has also confirmed the launch of the upcoming smartphone on May 24th, 2021. The upcoming special edition handset is said to arrive with highlighted features like 44W fast charging support, Snapdragon 870 chipset, and a lot more. iQOO Neo 5 Vitality Edition Launch Confirmed

According to a report from IT Home, the upcoming iQOO Neo 5 Vitality Edition is confirmed to launch on May 24th. The company has revealed the launch date by dropping a teaser poster on its official Weibo handle. The teaser image shows a smartphone with a punch-hole camera cutout mounted on the top-right corner to accommodate the selfie sensor. The listing also confirmed the date and device name. Besides, the official announcement didn’t mention anything about the specifications of the phone.

iQOO Neo 5 Vitality Edition Expected Specifications

Going with the previous reports, the iQOO Neo 5 Vitality Edition was recently listed on the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology suggesting that the handset will feature a 44W fast charging support. The listing also claims that the smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 870 processor. The special edition smartphone is going to be an upgraded version of the iQOO Neo 5 which was launched back in March.

The vanilla variant was launched with a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support. Under the hood, the smartphone was powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, clubbed with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage. It would be interesting to see what the company is planning to bring this time with the limited edition smartphone.
